Founder & CEO

Dr. Faulk obtained his PhD in Bioengineering at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at Pitt and has more than 12 years of academic and industry experience in medical device design and manufacture.


Ricardo Londono, MD/PhD
Founder & CSO

Dr. Londono is a graduate of the MD/PhD Program at Pitt Med. His research focuses on Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine and has more than 10 years of clinical experience in artificial organ technologies.


Kimberly Lamberti
Director of Product Development

Kim is a dual major in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering at CMU. She is a medical product developer with expertise in biocompatibility and cardiovascular/pulmonary device design & manufacture

Dr. Marra is the Vice-Chair of Research for the Department of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Plastic Surgery Research Laboratory at Pitt’s School of Medicine.

Kelly is the founder and former CEO of ActivAided Orthotics, a company that focuses on developing rehabilitative garments and postural training apparel for the relief of back pain.

Donna Stolz, PhD
Technical Advisor

Dr. Stolz is the Associate Director of the Center for Biologic Imaging, School of Medicine, and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Cell Biology and Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh.


Stephen Winowich
Business Advisor

Mr. Winowich is President of Procirca and former Vice-President/COO of Vital Engineering, a division of Procirca that arose from the UPMC Artificial Heart Program specializing in adult and pediatric mechanical circulatory support technologies.
